Jessica Schomaker
is a lawyer. She advises in the areas of tax and corporate law, with a particular focus on:
- family businesses, succession planning
- taxation of corporate groups and partnerships
- M&A, restructuring
- real estate transactions
- structuring of cross-border transactions
- tax audits and litigation before tax and civil courts
Jessica Schomaker studied law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg and at the University of Cambridge, UK (Gonville & Caius) with a focus on tax law. During her studies, she already worked as a research assistant at WIESE LUKAS.
During her legal clerkship she worked for Flick Gocke Schaumburg as well as for the Federal Ministry of Finance in Berlin and the Fiscal Court of Hamburg. She is doing her doctorate at the Chair of Tax Law at Bucerius Law School (Prof. Dr. Weitemeyer) in the field of income taxation.
